Vitreoretinal Surgery
At Northeast Eye Surgeons, the full spectrum of Vitreoretinal (back of the eye) conditions can be managed including:
Retinal detachment
Macular hole
Epiretinal membrane
Vitreomacular traction
Floaters or blood in vitreous (the gel in the 'back of the eye')
Complex cataract surgery e.g. requiring surgical approach using the 'back of the eye'
Secondary lens implants e.g. requiring fixation to the sclera.
Some vitreoretinal conditions can require urgent surgical intervention. In such cases we will arrange for you to be assessed promptly so that treatment can be organized for you without delay.
